To the Honorable the President and members of the Senate of South Carolina. The petition of Francis Kinlock of Georgetown District respectfully herewith.
That among the number of Negroes in Georgetown charged with an attempt of resurrection was one named Mood, belonging to himself, who was taken, tried and executed on the 26th day of August last. As will appear by the appraiser much of the cause hereunto attached.
Your petition therefore prays that he be paid for the same negroe the among that is customary in such cases or any further said, you may consider him, in justice entitled to, and he, as in duty, forever will pray
